Guide to creating & sending ZNS campaigns on Alohub

ZNS (Zalo Notification Service) allows businesses to send structured notification messages to customers via Zalo Official Account (OA). This article guides the process 8 steps to create and send a complete ZNS campaign: from preparing the template, mapping parameters, creating the campaign, uploading the customer list to checking the budget and sending it.

Requirements before starting: An Alohub account has been granted campaign access, a connected Zalo OA, the ZNS template has been approved by Zalo, and the ZCA account has sufficient balance.

Step 1 · Log in to the system

Access the Alohub system address in the browser, enter Username and Password provided, then click Log in to enter the working interface.

Step 2 · Open Template menu — foundational step

Go to the menu Campaign › Template . This is a foundational step that must be done before creating the campaign because the template must be parameter-mapped for the campaign to fill in customer data into the message.

Note: Each ZNS template only needs to be mapped once. After mapping is complete, the template can be reused for multiple different campaigns.

Step 3 · Select the ZNS template to be mapped

In the template list, select the correct ZNS template you want to use. Click on a template to open the Details section on the right side of the screen, where the parameters required by the template are displayed.

Step 4 · Mapping parameters with data fields

In the Mapping frame, assign each parameter of the template with the corresponding data field in the customer list file. The mapping ensures the system knows which values to fill in each position in the ZNS message.

Important: The parameter names in the template must match exactly with the data column in the Excel file. If mapped incorrectly, the message will be missing content or rejected by Zalo.

Step 5 · Create a new ZNS campaign

Go to Campaign › Campaign management , click the + Add new button in the upper right corner.
In the dialog box Select campaign type , select NEW CAMPAIGN ZNS V2 .
Click Next to proceed to the campaign information entry step.

Step 6 · Fill in campaign information

In the General information step, fill in the following fields:

Field	Description
Campaign name	Give a recognizable name for future management.
Zalo OA	Select the correct OA the business uses to send messages.
ZNS template	Select the template mapped in step 4.
Sending time frame	Allowed sending times (enter hours separated by commas).
Start date / End date	The duration of the campaign.

After filling in, click Continue to proceed to the Customer list step.

Note: The system only sends messages within the declared time frames and during the start date – end date period. Please choose a time frame that complies with Zalo's messaging policy.

Step 7 · Upload the customer list

In the Customer list step:

Click + Create new to open the form to create a new customer list.
Click Download import template to download the sample Excel file — data must be entered according to this template.
Set List name (e.g., KH_VIP_T3_2026).
Drag and drop or select the filled Excel file (supports .xlsx, .xls, .csv— maximum 10MB).
Click Save to upload. The upload process may take a few minutes.

Check & select the uploaded list

Close the form and reopen it, type in the search box and select the correct list just created.
The customer count column (e.g., 787 customers ) indicates that the system has finished uploading customer data.
When the list is ready, click Next: Check balance .

Warning: Always use the correct import template file. If you add/remove columns or misname columns, the data will not match the parameter mapping in step 4 and the message may send errors.

Step 8 · Check budget (balance)

The system automatically checks the Current ZCA balance and compares it with the estimated cost of the campaign:

ZCA balance — the current account balance.
ZNS cost — calculated based on the unit price UID/Phone number × number of customers.
Total (including VAT) — the total final cost to be paid.

If the balance is sufficient to send the campaign, click Next to proceed to the sending step.

Important: The displayed cost is an estimate based on fluctuations in the ZCA balance. If the balance is insufficient, please top up the ZCA account before continuing.

Confirm & Send campaign

Review all information: campaign name, unit price, number of customers, estimated cost, and fluctuations in the ZCA balance.
Click Confirm & Send campaign to start sending. Then monitor the results in the Results tab.

Monitor after sending

After the campaign runs, go to Campaign management to view the metrics:

Frequently asked questions

Why is the message missing content? — Due to parameter mapping in step 4 not matching the data column in the Excel file. Check the parameter names and column names again.

Unable to send due to insufficient balance? — Top up the ZCA account and return to step 8 to check the balance.

Template not appearing in the selection list? — The template has not been approved by Zalo or has not been parameter-mapped. Complete steps 2–4 first.
